We are renting traffic control equipment to FlatIron Construction for their concrete rehabilitation project.  This is  on    I-15 from SR-126 to SR-191 in Box Elder County.

Crews will hydraulically level the concrete slabs of I-15, then cut slots into the concrete surface.  Three slots are cut in each “tire track” of the slab.  Then reinforcing dowel bars are placed in these slots and cemented into place with a grout-like substance.  Once the grout has dried, crews will grind the surface of the roadway to ensure a smooth ride for all motorists.

Wasatch Barricade is providing 5 miles in each direction of lane and ramp closures and detours.  This project is scheduled to last for 6 months.
